Note: This is a low voltage version N1050, which needs to be powered by 12~24 Vdc / 24 Vac. Please contact us for the price and lead time. For a high voltage powered controller (110~240V AC), please find here.
N1050 is an advanced high performance PID temperature controller featuring a vivid LCD display in a modern design package. This top-of-the-line product combines the PID algorithm with a large and bright easy-to-read multicolor 11-segment LCD display with alphanumeric mnemonics and crystal clear status signaling. It also has built-in timer feature with optional ramp soak step function. Please see our comparison table for ramp soak PIDs here.
Features:
- Wide and high contrast, vivid LCD display
- Short profile 1/16 DIN PID controller (80mm depth)
- Micro USB port and optional RS485 for computer access*.
- Universal output design to drive SSR relay or mechanical contactor
- Optional ramp soak function which can be enabled in its settings. 5 ramp soak program profiles, with up to 4 programming steps in every profile. Up to 20 steps when connecting 5 profiles together.
- Three timer modes with two timer settings
- Displays temperature in either Fahrenheit or Celsius
Besides the PID auto-tuning capability, N1050 outputs PWM control mode through SSR output (pulse) or relay. Up to three optional output relays can be selected. It also features 5 ramp-and-soak profile programs, soft start output and timer function which complement the advanced features of the controller. With password protected, all parameters are configurable by the display menu, via USB port or optional RS485 Modbus interface.
Easy to install and maintain due to its detachable connector, N1050 offers the lowest power consumption in the market. Housed in anti-flame material, it has 48x48 mm (DIN 1/16) format and low profile front panel. Suitable for hostile environments, it complies with standard EMC regulations, providing robustness and reliability including untapped temperature applications.
Two output models are available:
Model C has one SSR output and one relay output. Model D has one SSR output and three relay outputs. Both models above have built-in timer and USB port. Model D has one RS485 port which is recommended for long time computer monitoring*.
*Note for computer access: This controller has two methods to connect to the computer. One is through the micro USB port located on the side of the display (micro USB cable is not included). Both model C and model D have a micro USB port on its side. Another is through the RS485 ports on the back of the controller (model D only). Micro USB solution is intended for temporary use only. For long time, continuously use, model D with RS485 interface is recommended. For details, please see note on page 2 of its manual. Optional RS485 USB adapter options (uninsulated/insulated) and 6 ft data cable is offered. If your computer cannot read or identify our USB adapter correctly, please install its driver at first. You can find its download link in the bottom section of this page.
**Note for USB connection: When you use micro USB cable (not included) to connect this PID controller to your computer, external power supply for this controller is not needed. The power from your computer can also power up this PID controller.
***Note for data logger feature: In order to log the temperature data from this controller, users can connect this controller to a Windows computer (see *Note above), then use Field Chart Lite software to log the real-time temperature from the controller. See download link on the bottom of this page. N1050 controller itself does not have the data logger function.
