This sixteen channel/zone temperature meter can measure temperatures from up to sixteen temp probes (see limitation #1 below). It allows the user to monitor the temperature of more spots with limited panel space. This unit works with Pt100 RTD and the popular thermocouple temperature sensors. It contains dry relay outputs that can be programmed to trigger at specific temperatures as the absolute high/low temperature alarms separately (see limitation #2 below).
Features and Limitation:
1. Different than SKX-800 eight channel meter, this meter cannot display the readouts from all the connected temp sensors at one time. In the default auto mode, this meter can display the temp from different channels alternately. In the manual mode, users can set this meter to show the temp from the specific channel.
2. This meter has one group of alarm relay and a group of alarm relay settings, which are shared by all 16 channels. You cannot set different temp alarms for every channels.
3. This meter can only read one type of sensor at one time. For example, it can read up to sixteen type K thermocouple at the same time, or up to sixteen PT100 RTD at the same time.
4. This meter can display temperature in either Fahrenheit or Celsius.
