K Type Magnet Probe for Surfaces and Walls

This is a type K thermocouple with a high-temperature magnet that could be attached to ferro surfaces with a holding force of 10 lbs. This product comes with a magnetic keeper (1.25-inch diameter, 1/8-inch height, silver colored disc) to help preserve the magnet strength and reduce the interference to the nearby devices that are magnetic sensitive. Please remove the keeper before attaching the sensor to the surface.

Remove the magnet keeper before installing the magnetic probe. (The photo shows the magnet probe installed with a type K mini connector. )

This magnet probe is very easy to use. There is no need to drill a hole to insert the probe. It can be applied to any flat or slightly curved Ferro surface, making it suitable for measuring temperature from a cast iron stove or a steel flue pipe. It gives a good reference point to the actual temperature inside the stove or flue pipe.
