Black Enclosure for 4 Controllers 16x16x8"

This black controller enclosure measures 16" x16" x 8" (400 x 400 x 200 mm). Four 1/16 DIN sized controllers or timers can be installed with adequate room for wiring and switching device. This box is made of powder coated, 0.060" (1.5 mm) thick steel (rated as NEMA 4), which is available in black color. Strong and durable industrial flat textured black finish (black base paint*) makes the final finish paint easier. If your panel will be black, we recommend that you start with the black enclosure. If you start with beige color and paint it black later, it will not look as nice because the top paint may not be as strong as the powder coated base. When the top paint wears out, it will look bad.

The door comes with a lock and key. The hinges of the door are removable. It can be installed on either right or left side. Gasket and plugs are provided. The enclosure is designed to be mounted on a wall. You can directly mount it with screws or hang it on the wall with the hangers (included). 

 

The enclosure comes two options: compact top cover plate or 80A heat sink for SSR. Optional external mounted SSR heat sink is capable of cooling a 80 Amp SSR. The top panel of this enclosure has heat sink cutout and screw holes for heat sink mounting. No mounting plate/adapter is needed to install the heat sink. This 80A heat sink comes with pre-drilled and tapped mounting holes for the box and SSR mounting. Up to 3 SSRs can be mounted. This external mounted heat sink eliminates the venting requirement of the enclosure for internally mounted heat sink.  The dimension for the heat sink is 135mm x 250mm x 30mm (5.3" x 9.9" x 1.2").

 

Optional top cover plate will cover the top heat sink hole if not in use. Gasket is also included. 

 

Optional DIN Rail set is offered. It includes one piece of DIN Rail, one pair of DIN Rail end caps and one set of mounting screws & nuts.
