This HD330 two-way humidity controller contains one humidity sensor and two independent outputs. One output is for humidifying and the other is for dehumidifying. To connect, you need to only plug in the power cord plugs from your humidifier and/or dehumidifier directly to the outlets on the side of the controller. This humidity controller can be used for applications like tobacco/herbal dehydration, sausage curing, piano humidity control, etc. Using both humidifying and dehumidifying, the humidity ratio can be regulated to a specific range, regardless of whether the environment is dry or wet. This controller is a plug-n-play device, requiring no extra wiring and containing a simple on/off operation; This controller is similar to a mechanical humidistat but with high precision due to the adjustable hysteresis band, precise sensor, and digital readout. Two operating modes are provided: Single-step mode and multi-step mode. In multi-step mode, this humidity control is programmable and varies with time for up to 8 humidity-time steps covering up to 33 days.
This controller can be used in high relative humidity (>85%RH) and condensing environments, which are the most challenging conditions for humidity controllers. For example, when controlling the humidity of a curing fridge at temperatures below the dew point of the ambient environment, opening the fridge door will cause water to condense onto the sensor. Also, when controlling the humidity at a relative humidity level close to 100%RH, a slight temperature drop may cause condensation on the sensor. As a result, this will usually lead to unstable readings on humidity sensors and can potentially damage the sensor. This controller, however, is equipped with the most robust sensor available on the market that can withstand such situations.
The default sensor cable is 6 ft (2 m). 20 ft (6 m) cable option is also available.
