Original Description:
This is a 240V 75A turn-key control panel for powder coating oven w/ light and fan control features. It allows you to run heating elements up to 18,000 watt (or six 3000-watt elements). It includes both temperature control and timer counting features, so users can cure the parts in the oven for a certain amount of time at the set temperature. This will maximize the finishing quality and minimize your time, resources and effort spent on building a control box. With the help of this control panel, your curing process can be easier and simpler.
Feature:
- Powder coated wall-mount enclosure with 1/2" knockouts.
- Dual-line display PID controller with a high temp alarm feature.
- Independent timer readouts with a finishing alarm feature.
- Independent thermometer for over-temp protection.
- Oven temperature probe w/ mounting screws (both sensor and cable are rated for 900ºF).
- Audible buzzer for temperature and timer alarm.
- Mini digital volt and amp meter to show system power.
- Illuminated 22mm switches for intuitive operation.
- Independent SSR and contactor for each heater outlet.
- Two independent controlled 120V outlets for light and fan.
- Side-mount breaker switch for overcurrent protection.

This control panel is built with some of the most popular components Auber Instruments has to offer to the metal finishing enthusiasts. With our classic PID controller SYL-2352 (left), users can directly change the set temperature by using the up and down arrow keys (view/change other system parameters by holding SET key for 2 seconds). The timer JSL-74A timer (middle) has only a few parameters to set up; if the door needs to be opened during a batch, one can use a pause or stop key to interrupt the timer. When a batch is finished, the coating process can be re-started by pressing the reset button. The additional SYL-2362 thermometer (right) is used to monitor the temperature for over-temperature safety protection. In the case if the PID SYL-2352 or sensor is failed, the SYL-2362 and its sensor can provide an additional high temperature notification and even shut off power to all elements if oven temperature goes too high (limit control protection).

Each element switch is used to drive one contactor and each contactor can be connected to up to two 3000-watt elements. Users can manually turn off one or two element switches. When the element switch has been turned ON, the PID controller will automatically make a calculation for how much percentage of power will be delivered to it to maintain on the set point, either full power, partial power or no power. The miniature voltmeter and ammeter on the top will provide an instantaneous view of your system power consumption information.

The sensor provided in this control panel is our
TC-K3MM. It is suitable for low oven application and can handle up to 900 degree F. The 1/8" diameter probe offers a good balance between the fast response time in the air and reasonable mechanical strength. The base of the probe is made of a 0.55" (15 mm) long 5/16"-24 screw for easy mounting. The probe is 4" long and 1/8” (3.0 mm) diameter made of stainless steel with a plated brass base.
