N20K48 is an advanced Bluetooth PID temperature controller featuring a vivid LCD display in a modern design package. Evolved from the popular N1050 PID controller, this top-of-the-line product combines the PID algorithm with a larger & brighter multi-color 11-segment LCD display with alphanumeric mnemonics and crystal clear status signaling. With the exclusive Bluetooth feature, users can check/change the settings in this controller via a smartphone app wirelessly. It also has a micro-USB port located on its bottom for temporary wired computer access. It has a built-in timer feature with ramp soak step function*. *: By default, both the built-in timer function and ramp soak function are disabled by its settings. Users can easily enable either function on the user end by changing settings. For details, see its operation manual.
**: Overall depth (including the display) for the combo unit is 92mm. Overall depth behind the display is 89mm.

- Optional ramp soak function*which can be enabled in its settings. 20 ramp soak program profiles, with up to 9 programming steps in every profile. Up to 180 steps when connecting profiles together. Profiles are stored inside of the controller.

- Displays temperature in either Fahrenheit or Celsius
- Modular design for expandability. External ClickNGo modules (not included) can be added to the main control module to achieve external features such as digital input, voltage/analog output, RS485 communication, etc.
Besides the PID auto-tuning capability, N20K48 outputs PWM control mode through SSR output (pulse) or relay. It also features 20 ramp-and-soak profiles (each profile can program up to 9 steps), soft start output and timer function which complement the advanced features of the controller. With password protected, all parameters are configurable by the front keypad, via USB port or Bluetooth.
Easy to install and maintain due to its detachable connector, N20K48 offers the lowest power consumption in the market. Housed in anti-flame material, it has 48x48 mm (DIN 1/16) format and low profile front panel.
**Note for computer access: Bluetooth and USB are both supported by the N20K48 controller. Diagnostics and configuration are accomplished using these connections. Quicktune mobile app (Android & iOS) is provided for wireless Bluetooth connection and Quicktune software (Win only) is provided for USB connection. There is one micro USB port located on the bottom of the controller, closer to the front display. Micro USB method is intended for temporary use only. For details, please see the bottom section on page 34 of its manual. For long time, continuously use like data logging/monitoring, N20K48 with the external RS485 addon module (see combo listing here) or N1050 model B with RS485 interface is recommended.
***Note for USB connection: When you use micro USB cable (not included) to connect this PID controller to your computer, external power supply for this controller is not needed. The power from your computer can also power up this PID controller. This micro USB port is located on the bottom of the controller, closer to the front display. This port will be hidden after this controller is installed to a control panel/box.
