This is an economical version dual-channel 40A DC-trigger-AC SSR. This SSR is in the size of the regular single channel SSR but there are two separate switching channels inside. This SSR will save you some space for dual channel switching applications. Both input and output terminals are screw terminals, which will be easy to install, compared to the blade terminals used in SRDA25-2C. The center input terminal block has the detachable design, so users can connect the control signal wires to the terminal block at first, then plug in the block back to the SSR base.
Similar to SRDA40-2C, this SSR has two different designs.1) The input green connector is larger than the mini style connector we used in SRDA40-2C. The overall thickness for this SSR is 38mm (including the green connector). 2). The placement of two output channels in this SSR is different.
The performance between SRDA40-2C and NC-SRDA40-2C are the same.
Note: This SSR needs to be mounted on a heat sink to dissipate heat. Please refer to the total amperage of your load (both channels) to pick up the proper heat sink. For example, if you want to pass 30A x 2 through this SSR, you need to use at least 60A rated heat sink.
