This timer is designed based on commonly used beer-brewing recipes. It can help brewers track the duration of the whole boiling process and remind brewers to add hops or other ingredients at each specific times.

The setup is very simple. There are only three parameters to be set:

1) Number of events. Up to nine events can be selected.
2) Relay/Alarm on time for the event.
3) Boiling time of each event as the recipe provided. There is no need to calculate each ingredient's addition time from the beginning of the whole boiling process.

When each event is up, the relay will pull in. It can be connected to a flashing buzzer (optional). The on duration of the relay can be programmed by the user. It can be a few seconds (if you are close by) or on until cancelled (if you are away). User can also program the timer so that it will pause when each event is up, giving you plenty of time to change the system. User can then press the reset key to run the next event.

While the timer is running, the bottom display shows the remaining time to the end of boiling. The top display shows the remaining time to the next event so that you can judge if there is enough time to do some short errands.
