Ceramic Sheath for Kiln thermocouple

This ceramic sheath is for protecting the Hi Temp Thermocouple for kilns (TC-K-KLN) when heated by fuel. It prevents the thermocouple element from exposing itself to the reducing gas and extends its life. The ceramic sheath will even extend the thermocouple’s life when used in electric heated kilns. The picture shows both the sheath and the thermocouple to be protected; however, the thermocouple is not included with this ceramic sheath.

Note: this product can handle very high temperature (up to 2700F) but it cannot touch the flame directly. When you install this ceramic probe/sheath, please keep them away from your burner/flame.
