The HP-150 is a DC-powered heating plate with a digital precision PID temperature controller. This ultra-thin, low noise heating plate offers uniform heating, which allows researchers to maintain the animal's body at a specific temperature. This setup can also be used for other similar applications which require a constant, above ambient temperature. The power input of the controller is 12 VDC (AC-DC power adapter is included). This low voltage reduces electric noise generated from the heating current. The heating plate adapts state-of-the-art heat conducting technology that was originally developed for LED lighting. It demonstrates extreme uniform temperature distribution over the entire surface, while keeping the plate thin and the cost low.
Two heating pads in different size are offered:
Option 1: Dimension: 250 x 150 mm (9.8 x 5.9"), rated as 36W / 12V DC. The 5A / 12V DC power adapter is included. .
Option 2: Dimension: 140 x 80 mm (5.5 x 3.1"), rated as 24W / 12V DC. 3A / 12V and 5A / 12V DC adapter options are offered.
Option 250 x 150 mm on the bottom. Option 140 x 80 mm on the top.
