This listing includes one 12V & 5V converter / charger for DeWalt® 20V Battery, DCB091 compatible, for Heated Jacket, Video Camera, BBQ Smoker Controller. One 3 ft power cable is also included for your convenience, which can be used to power SYL-1615 / SYL-2615 / SYL-3615 BBQ controller directly.
If you have DeWalt® power drill or other power tools that use DeWalt® 20V Max battery, this unit will allow you to power our charcoal smoker controllers with the same battery. It will convert the DeWalt® 20V lithium battery into a 12V regular lithium battery power bank (power pack) with one 12V 3A DC** output and two USB 5V DC outputs. The 12V output has 3A maximum rating. The output connection is a standard 5.5/2.1 mm barrel power jack. One male to male power cord for our Auber smoker controller is included. It can be used to power the heated jacket, video camera, BBQ smoker controller, and many other devices that requires a 12VDC power supply. Typically a fully charged DeWalt® battery can handle 20 ~ 50 hours average cooking*. One of the 5V USB output is rated for 1 amp and the other is rated for 2.1 amp. They can be used for charging cell phones and/or other USB powered device such as Bluetooth speakers.
*: 20 Hours operating time is based on 2Ah battery, SYL-2615 controller and 20CFM blower (30% average blower output). 50 Hours operating time is based on 2Ah battery, SYL-1615 controller and 6.5CFM blower (5% average blower output). The actual operating time depends on many factors, including the battery capacity, ambient temperature, cooking temperature, blower size and also the fuel burning status. For Kamado style smokers/grills such as Big Green Egg, a 6.5CFM blower only needs to run at less than 5% average time (ambient temp: 40F, set temp: 225F). For bullet style smokers such as Weber Smokey Mountain, a 10CFM blower needs to run at less than 30% average time (ambient temp: 40F, set temp 225F).

Technical talk: When considering the power capacity as a 12V power bank, the 5.0Ah (DCB205) 20V MAX battery should be rated as 8,300mAh. When consider the power capacity as 5V power bank, this DCB205 battery is equivalent to a 20,000mAH 5V power bank. Similarly, 2.0Ah (DCB203) 20V MAX battery should be rated as 3,300mAh 12V power bank, or 8,000mAh 5V power bank.
