I researched just about every option out there for temperature controllers, and decided on the Auber 2615, based in part on the review from amazingribs.com, and in part on the value.

Shipping - very fast, as part of the promotion they had running at the time of ordering. I ordered it on 12/20, it was delivered on 12/22.

Boxing and contents - Packed well, did not come with instructions, but I knew that before I ordered. I was impressed with the quality of the components. The wires seem built to last, and while the fan itself is plastic, the part that touches the smoker is metal. The controller itself is solid, and everything appears to be of high quality.

Wireless hookup and App - It was simple to hook up to my wireless network, and I turned it off and on again a few times, and it reconnected each time automatically. The app works as intended. I was a little worried going in, since a few of the negative reviews I found on the web mentioned specifically that if you left your house, you couldn't connect to the temperature controller, but I had no issues checking and changing temperatures from multiple locations away from my home.

Cooking - I tested it out with 3 cooks so far: a turkey, 14 lbs of pork shoulder butt (14 hour cook) and a prime rib. Each time the controller has worked flawlessly. The only issue I had turned out to be user error (the temperature was rising well above the programmed amount, and I realized that I opened the bottom vents on my WSM instead of closing them. As soon as they were closed, the temperature started dropping back down to the set value.) So far I am very pleased with this unit, and I look forward to using it again soon.
